All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (e.g. average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.


The average pay for GPs working in Liverpool House Surgery in the last financial year was £82,820 before tax and National Insurance. This is for 2 full  time GPs and 2 GP locums who worked in the practice for more than six months.

Ursula Stout Practice Manager

Ursula has over 20 years experience of working within the NHS including 7 years as a Practice Manager for a rural GP Surgery in Scotland. She started at Liverpool House Surgery in March 2020.

Ursula and all the reception staff, are available for help and advice about any administrative or non-medical aspect of your health treatment. They are bound by the same rules of confidentiality as the Doctors.

Louise Knagg     Reception Manager / Medicines Manager

Louise has worked at the practice since 2008.  She manages the reception and admin team, and also works as Medicines Manager for the practice.  If you have any queries regarding appointments, patient access, medication queries or prescriptions then please contact Louise.


Aileen Duignan, Hayley Wilson, Charlotte Stamper, Amanda Tucker & Carol Reed

Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, dealing with financial claims, dealing with patient records and carrying out searches and practice audits.
